Senior Concept Artist

Values Value is a recruiting company with expertise in gamedev, is looking for an experienced Concept Artist  for one of our clients, an enthusiastic team who make the best MMO action game on mobile devices.

The project requires the creation of author's content (customization of characters, environment objects, customization of transport and weapons, environment concepts are needed). The company need to form a 2D division, the main link of which should be a Concept Artist.

На какие задачи (обязанности)?

• Close cooperation with the art Producer and other Concept artists, 3D production artists to create a high-quality design that will determine the appearance of the game

• Common work with the project team to create concepts that fulfill the project's tasks as efficiently as possible (gameplay, atmosphere, narrative)

• Development of a unique visual design and creation of concept art of characters, elements of their customization, equipment, weapons, for further 3D modeling

• Rendering of atmospheric concept-art locations, concepts for modeling environment objects

• Organization of the work, control of compliance with the chosen style and quality of the work of the concept artists of the project

• Feedback of 3D models, effects and animations based on created concepts to achieve the best result

• Control of the final implementation of art in the game

• Compilation and maintenance of art documentation in an up-to-date status

Какого профессионала ищем?

• 3 years of experience as a concept artist in the game or film industry

• Advanced drawing skills, excellent artistic taste, understanding of design principles, the basics of composition, plastic anatomy and color theory, confident styling skills

• Understanding the features of 3D and the limitations of the game engine and genre, the ability to adapt to these requirements

• Ability to work in different styles

• Passion for games and knowledge of the gaming industry

• Portfolio is mandatory

Will be a plus:

• Knowledge of 3D packages for modeling, sculpting, rendering.

• Art education

• High level skills of one or more related disciplines: illustration, visual effects, industrial design
