LO-FI GAMES, an independent game studio in Bristol, UK, launched its first title, Kenshi, in 2018. Founded by Chris Hunt in 2006, the company was initially a solo venture. Hunt, balancing roles as a security guard and developer, led to Kenshi's 2013 success on Steam Greenlight. By 2014, sales allowed Hunt to expand his team. Praised for its depth, Kenshi sold over two million copies and ranked among Steam's top 100 games by 2019.
The team is now developing Kenshi 2.
