🎵 Looking for a Unity Developer for a Rhythm-Based Music Game
We are a small international team launching an experimental rhythm game focused on tapping and swiping to music — combining precision, style, and creativity — and we’re looking for a Unity developer to bring this experience to the web.
👤 Who we’re looking for
An experienced Unity developer who has worked on rhythm-based gameplay or understands how to achieve frame-accurate synchronization between audio and visuals. Bonus points if you’re comfortable with WebGL, secure code delivery, and streaming audio content from the cloud.
An interest in crypto, decentralization, or Web3 is a big plus — we’re not afraid to experiment.
🛠 What you’ll be doing
• Develop a rhythm game in Unity targeting WebGL
• Support our custom beat-mapping tool used by game designers
• Ensure tight sync between UI, animation, and music
• Work closely with 2D/3D artists on visuals and animations
• Build cloud-based audio storage and playback
• Implement protection against bots, hacks, and fake scores
• Optimize performance and loading times for WebGL
• Add game mechanics: score systems, progression, leaderboards
• Suggest improvements and help shape the product direction

🎯 Responsibilities
Main Purpose of the Role
To lead the technical development of a browser-based rhythm game delivered as a Telegram Mini App. The developer will ensure accurate music-to-input synchronization, smooth performance within WebView environments, and secure, scalable gameplay architecture.
Core Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain rhythm-based gameplay using Unity (WebGL build for Telegram Mini App)
• Integrate and improve a custom beat-mapping tool used by game designers
• Ensure frame-accurate synchronization between music, animations, and player input
• Collaborate closely with artists on UI/UX and animations
• Optimize performance for mobile and desktop WebView environments
• Implement secure audio streaming and cloud storage integration
• Build anti-cheat systems to detect bots, tampering, or score manipulation
• Maintain clean, modular code architecture with scalability in mind
• Collaborate with the producer and designer on feature planning and testing
• Address feedback from QA and internal testers efficiently

• Music Sync Accuracy: Frame-accurate tap synchronization (95%+ alignment)
• WebView Performance: Initial load time under 5 seconds on target devices
• Stability: <5% crash or major bug rate during testing cycles

🧠 Professional Skills
Required Experience
5+ years of experience in Unity game development
Hands-on experience building and deploying WebGL games
Experience working on rhythm/music-based or timing-sensitive games
Proven ability to ship and maintain production-ready game code
Technical Skills
Proficient in Unity (C#) with focus on mobile/web performance
Solid understanding of WebGL builds and Unity’s Web platform limitations
Familiarity with audio synchronization techniques (e.g., AudioSettings.dspTime, Timeline, frame-accurate syncing)
Experience with UI/UX implementation in Unity
Knowledge of game architecture patterns (MVC, ECS, event systems, etc.)
Version control with Git
Debugging and profiling tools (Unity Profiler, browser dev tools)

Unity (2021 or later preferred)
Git + GitHub/GitLab
Firebase or similar for cloud storage / backend integration
(Optional) Familiarity with Telegram Bot APIs or Telegram WebApp SDK
(Optional) Three.js or WebGL-specific debugging tools

Experience building Telegram Mini Apps or browser-based games with similar constraints
