Senior Meta Game Designer

We’re looking for a skilled Senior Meta Game Designer to help build the long-term progression, economy, and engagement systems of UFL — our free-to-play football game focused on fair competition and skill-first gameplay.

На які завдання (обов'язки)?

• Design and refine complex meta systems — player progression, in-game economy, reward loops, and event structures — aligned with the game’s F2P model;

• Build robust connections between core gameplay (football matches) and meta layers such as player development, team-building, collections, league progression, and seasonal content;

• Define and evolve a scalable game economy, including multiple currencies, soft/hard balances, sinks/sources, and monetization paths;

• Partner with Product and Analytics to define success metrics, assess system performance, and implement data-driven iterations;

• Collaborate closely with UI/UX, Development, Art, and Marketing to ensure cohesive system delivery and excellent player experience;

• Provide mentorship to mid- and junior designers; review, challenge, and elevate meta/game design across the project;

• Stay ahead of market trends in F2P, sports, and GaaS to inspire innovation and maintain competitive advantage.

Якого професіонала шукаємо?

• 5+ years of experience in game design, with 2+ years focused specifically on meta systems and F2P economies in live games;

• Demonstrated success in designing and operating scalable F2P features (e.g. battle pass, gacha mechanics, time-limited events, upgrade loops);

• Strong ability to build and document systems from the ground up, and drive their implementation through cross-discipline alignment;

• Expert in balancing tools (Excel/Sheets), economy modeling, and system mapping;

• Deep understanding of player psychology, behavioral design, and player segmentation;

• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience mentoring or reviewing the work of other designers;

• Passion for football and/or sports gaming is a strong advantage.

• Familiarity with Live Ops tools and F2P monetization platforms;

• Prototyping skills (e.g., Unity/Unreal or scripting knowledge) to validate ideas quickly;
