Quality Engineering Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Manager with strong leadership capabilities to lead and develop a global team of test engineers and leads. This role is responsible for driving quality assurance strategy, optimizing test operations, and fostering a high-performing, engaged team culture. As a people leader, you will play a critical role in aligning test initiatives with organizational goals, removing delivery obstacles, and ensuring the team is equipped with the tools, skills, and support needed to thrive.

You will oversee the execution of parallel project streams, balancing speed and quality while cultivating a collaborative environment that supports innovation, continuous learning, and excellence in delivery.

What You'll Do

People Leadership & Development

• Lead, coach, and support a high-performing QA team across regions.

• Drive engagement, growth, and performance through clear goal setting, regular feedback, and structured development plans.

• Establish onboarding and training frameworks to build team capability on new tools and technologies.

Test Delivery & Execution

• Own the end-to-end testing lifecycle across complex, multi-release projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.

• Collaborate with cross-functional partners—engineering, product, architecture, and operations—to validate test strategies and align on quality goals.

• Champion automation and continuous integration efforts to enhance efficiency and scalability

Operational Excellence

• Monitor day-to-day test execution, proactively removing impediments to maintain team velocity and productivity

• Ensure optimal utilization of test tools, frameworks, and infrastructure to support reliable and scalable testing practices (e.g., JIRA, Zephyr, TFS)

• Conduct quality assurance reviews and audits, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.

Risk Management & Governance

• Identify potential risks related to platform software releases and coordinate mitigation strategies.

• Track progress, resolve delivery bottlenecks, and escalate issues where necessary to maintain momentum and stakeholder confidence.

Global Collaboration

• Lead globally distributed teams, fostering strong communication and alignment across time zones.

• Act as a key liaison across engineering and delivery teams to ensure integrated, seamless QA operations.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 8+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a formal leadership role.

• Proven experience managing complex, multi-release programs within agile, hybrid, and waterfall delivery environments.

• Deep knowledge of QA methodologies, automation frameworks, and continuous testing practices.

• Hands-on expertise with tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, TFS, and version control systems.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to anticipate obstacles and remove barriers to success.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; adept at engaging and influencing global stakeholders.

• Prior experience in gaming or testing SDKs/GDKs is a plus
