Lead Game Designer

Obelisk studio is hiring Lead Game Designers to work on an AAA project in our office located in Limassol, Cyprus. Full-time position with relocation possibilities and bonuses.

Obelisk is the outsourcing unit and game studio, superior at creating assets for game, film and cinematics, high fidelity props and realistic characters.

We have expertise in working with independent developers through to AAA game titles and cinematics, such as Love, Death + Robots, Fallout 76, Cod: Vanguard, Sons of the Forest and many more. Displacement is a first-person action-horror game set in an alternative history of the near future. Mysterious and terrifying events occur at an isolated scientific station during a snowstorm.

• Building and management of a game design team, including its workflows

• Planning development together with the PM

• Sustaining a clear vision of the project in terms of game mechanics and broadcasting this vision to the team

• System design, development of transparent documentation on mechanics and features

• Interaction with developers and artists (setting and acceptance of tasks)

Якого професіонала шукаємо?

• Candidate level - senior+

• 2 years experience in a similar position

• High skill in documenting, ability to work with edits within one iteration

• Rich gaming experience, especially in the genre of horror, action, beat-em-up

• Systems thinking, game design approach to solving problems, focus on results

Would be a great advantage:

• Possibility of relocation to Cyprus, Limassol within 5 months.

• Knowledge of Unreal Engine BP
