Lead Character Artist (Outsource)

Strikerz Inc. is a videogame-creating collective and an international gaming brand launched in 2016 by a handful of people involved with online football. Currently, there are 300+ of us spread over 5 regional offices in various locations across Europe or working from home (yes, we love it too). Strikerz Inc. is the force behind the UFL, the ongoing online football videogame revolution. Being fans, we aim at offering our players an unprecedented gaming experience available on all major platforms.

Character Art Team focuses on creating photorealistic football players. We not only create new characters, but always work on improvement of existing materials and textures to make sure our audience enjoys the most realistic football experience

Responsibilities:

• Manage and scale head development processes by collaborating with outsourcing teams of 3D artists specializing in heads modeling and grooming;

• Develop, enhance, and optimize team workflows;

• Identify opportunities for technical innovation, streamline tools and processes, and promote best practices within the team.

Skills and requirements:

• Strong skills in Maya, Blender, Substance Painter, Photoshop, ZBrush, and Unreal Engine;

• Proficiency in grooming software like XGen;

• Expert knowledge of human facial anatomy and facial expressions;

• Up-to-date portfolio showcasing examples of 3D head likeness (sculpts, hair);

• Passionate about mentoring others to develop their artistic and technical skills further; enthusiastic about leading and growing a world-class character art team;

• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills;

• Demonstrates strong team spirit and a proactive attitude.
