Game Analyst

Junkineering is seeking a Game Analyst specializing in mobile games. The ideal candidate for this position must possess a firm grasp of current market trends within the mobile gaming industry and a deep understanding of the dynamics that drive the mobile market, including player behaviors, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.

In addition, the Game Analyst should have a keen eye for identifying patterns in player data, conducting in-depth analyses to optimize game performance, engagement, and monetization strategies. Ultimately, this role requires a strategic thinker who can translate data insights into actionable recommendations to drive the success of mobile games within the company’s portfolio.

🔸 Collaborating with the game development team to optimize game features, mechanics, and monetization strategies;
🔸 Providing insights and recommendations to improve player retention, acquisition, and engagement;
🔸 Conducting A/B tests and experiments to validate hypotheses and optimize game performance;
🔸 Monitoring and evaluating the impact of game updates and changes on player behavior and engagement;
🔸 Working closely with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotions based on player insights;
🔸 Staying informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and optimization in mobile game analytics;
🔸 Collaborating with game designers and developers to interpret data and provide actionable insights for game improvements and updates;
🔸 Collaborating with user acquisition teams to leverage data-driven insights for targeted user acquisition campaigns;
🔸 Contributing to the overall strategy and roadmap for the mobile game based on data-driven insights and analysis.

✔️ Experience with A/B testing: ability to design and analyze A/B tests to optimize game features, player behavior, and in-game events;
✔️ Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams;
✔️ Experience with player segmentation: ability to segment players based on behavior and demographics to understand player preferences and tailor game features accordingly.
