Lighting Artist (UE5)

Nekki is a game development studio, the creator of Shadow Fight Arena, Shadow Fight 3, Shadow Fight 2, 11×11, and Vector. The total number of registered users for our games exceeds 1 billion worldwide. We develop and release games for PC, consoles, and mobile platforms.

Currently, we are looking for a Lighting Artist for one of the studio's leading projects - SPINE.

SPINE is made with Unreal Engine 5 and centered around cinematic gun-fu shootouts. It's a third-person beat'em'up with a full set of PC gaming features, including a deep storyline, a unique setting, cutscenes, intriguing enemies, memorable bosses, character progression, and, most importantly, breathtaking battles with a wide array of firearms.

This project represents a new ambitious challenge for the company as it marks our first game for both PC and consoles.

На какие задачи (обязанности)?

• Setting up, optimizing, and polishing of lighting for SPINE's environment gameplay missions.

• Collaborating with art department to follow concepts and general visual ideas.

• Collaborating with level designers on highlighting aspects that are important for gameplay.

Какого профессионала ищем?

• Experience with Unreal Engine 5.

• Experience in creating lighting with Lumen system.

• Examples of work with both interior and exterior locations.

• Experience working with realistic environments.

• Ability to adjust materials according to lighting.

• Good understanding of composition and color theory.

• Fluent communication in English or Russian is required.
