We help talented developers around the globe focus on making mobile games they love. We publish their games and increase their revenue, so they can produce worldwide hits.

AppQuantum is renowned for its popular titles, including Legend of Slime, Gold & Goblins, Idle Lumber Empire, and Idle Outpost, among others.

The company is headquartered in Cyprus. Our team has 140+ people working from 18 locations, and we’re constantly looking for new professionals!

We are looking for a talented BizDev Director with experience in GameDev to join our team!

На какие задачи (обязанности)?

Key Responsibilities

Market analysis and opportunity monitoring

  • Gather and analyze information on current market trends and opportunities for mergers and acquisitions

  • Monitor the competitive environment and identify potential acquisition targets

Financial analysis and valuation of companies

  • Conduct financial analysis of potential merger or acquisition targets

  • Assess the financial performance and growth prospects of companies

  • Calculate and analyze company values, including forecasting financial results

Development of M&A strategy

  • Develop and refine mergers and acquisitions strategies in line with the company's long-term goals

  • Assess the risks and benefits of potential transactions

Conducting due diligence

  • Coordinate the due diligence process, including legal, financial, and operational assessments of target companies

  • Interact with external consultants (lawyers, auditors, etc.) to conduct due diligence

Negotiations and deal-making

  • Negotiate with target companies and their consultant

  • Develop and discuss transaction terms

  • Prepare and sign contracts and agreements

Integration of companies

  • Plan and coordinate the integration process for acquired companies

  • Collaborate with various departments within the company to successfully align processes, systems, and cultures

Interaction with management

  • Regularly inform management about the current status of projects and results achieved

  • Prepare reports and presentations for the board of directors and other stakeholders

Project management

  • Coordinate and manage project teams involved in the M&A process

  • Ensure project deadlines and budgets are met

Legal and regulatory support

  • Ensure that all processes and transactions comply with legal and regulatory requirements

  • Liaise with the legal department and consultants to resolve legal issues

Personnel training and development

  • Organize training for employees involved in the M&A process

  • Support the professional development of the team

Какого профессионала ищем?

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • Ability to manage projects and establish transparent processes to engage colleagues and partners effectively

  • Experience in roles related to project management or partner interaction, such as Business Development Manager, Platform Relationship Manager, User Acquisition Manager (UA Manager), or Project Manager (PM)

  • Understanding of product team processes, including the interaction between developers, designers, marketers, and analysts to effectively create and improve products

  • Knowledge of basic approaches to promoting and monetizing mobile applications, including traffic purchasing, mediation, ASO, and live-ops, as well as an understanding of working with modern mobile games and applications

  • Familiarity with basic marketing and behavioral metrics for mobile F2P games and apps (CPI/IPM/CTR/Retention/ARPU, etc.), understanding their interrelationships, and knowledge of benchmarks for different genres

  • Experience in M&A or corporate finance, preferably in the mobile industry, with the ability to evaluate and analyze the financial and operational performance of companies

  • B2+ level English proficiency

Nice to Have

  • Experience with tools like Sensor Tower, Data.ai

  • Experience with attribution services (MMP), such as AppsFlyer, Adjust

  • Experience in the gaming industry, particularly in mobile F2P publishing, performance marketing agencies, or gaming-related platforms

  • Proficiency in Chinese

  • A passion for mobile games
