VFX Artist

Values Value, a recruiting company with expertise in gamedev, is looking for an experienced, talented, and creative VFX Artist for one of our clients, a cool video game studio that is developing hybrid FPS and Souls-like game in the mystery western genre.

Na jakie zadania (obowiązki)?

• Creation of in-game effects from a sketch to final implementation.

• Creating VFX in a realistic style.

• Working with Lead Artist and Visual Director to create complex game and cinematic effects.

• Optimization of VFX assets according to technical requirements.

Jakiego specjalisty szukamy?

• 3+ years of AA/ AAA action/ shooter experience in a game industry pipeline.

• Experience developing effects in UE4/ UE5 Niagara and creating final effects in this system.

• Understanding animation principles, dynamics, color and other visual aspects of VFX.

• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop/ Adobe After Effects/ 3D effects package.

• Intermediate English (B1 is the minimum level, B2/C2 better).

Will be a plus:

• Portfolio of games’ effects.

• Ability to work with the game's direction, accentuation and flow (useful experience in motion-design).

• Ability to independently understand technical aspects following the example of already implemented tasks.

• Deep understanding of the technical part of game effects (atlases, batching, effects mechanics).

• Deep knowledge of Unreal Engine.

• Knowledge of Houdini and understanding of its integration into UE5 for use in real-time effects.
