Senior Vegetation Artist

The studio was founded in Kyiv, Ukraine in 2005 by a passionate team of game industry veterans with the goal of creating AAA-quality games. In 2014, the studio moved its headquarters, along with over 50 team members and their families, from Ukraine to the island of Malta.

Our projects so far include Metro 2033, Metro: Last Light, Metro Redux, Arktika. 1, and, our most recent release, Metro Exodus.

Na jakie zadania (obowiązki)?

We’re seeking a Senior Vegetation Artist to join our team. The job will require working with the Art Team to create foliage 3D assets. Work closely with Level Artists, Concept Artists, Designers, and the Art Director to create highly detailed natural objects and
parts of levels.

Jakiego specjalisty szukamy?

• 3+ years of experience in AAA game development, modeling, and texturing.

• Extensive knowledge of Speedtree, Maya/Max, ZBrush, Photoshop, Substance Painter, and Baking Tools.

• Knowing about photogrammetry and how to use it in game art.

• Good understanding of how to turn individual objects into integral biomes.

• Superior understanding of forms, shapes, structures, and silhouettes.

• In-depth knowledge of pipeline requirements of real-time game art.

• Able to work creatively as a part of a large or small group.

• Ability to improve and refine levels from the vegetation perspective.

Preferences:

• Experience with Unity or Unreal.

• Photogrammetry experience is a plus.

• Knowledge of tools such as Marvelous Designer, World Machine, Houdini, etc.

• Good English.

• A passion for games.

• Experience with Exodus SDK.
