Lead 2D Artist (STYLIZED/CASUAL)

OUTLOU:D is a new-wave game development studio where life balance, common sense, humor and result orientation meet each other and create a perfect environment.

Having decades of experience in mobile and console games we want to build the best mobile midcore experience for players.

We are looking for an experienced Lead 2D Artist to join our team and lead the art process for our games. You will contribute to all areas of game development, creating art style, work on concepts of characters, environment and lead the team to follow that art style. You will work closely with the engineers, game designers, producers and other artists to create games that will be played by millions of people all around the world.

• Ensure the quality of art produced by you and your team of artists

• Helping manage the art development process, limitations, and dependencies across mediums

• Creative Management of a small (but growing) team of artists

• Understanding and efficiently implementing the industry pipelines and able to manage challenging deadlines

• Work alongside other creatives in the studio

• Being up-to-date with Art & Design literature and best practices to continue driving the studio's Art & Design expertise

Jakiego specjalisty szukamy?

• Experience in Leading an Art team, shipping at least one casual title

• At least 2 years of experience in video games industry, preferably mobile/casual

• Storytelling and concept art skills

• Superior eye for light, value, color and composition

• Strong knowledge and skills in graphic design principles, fonts, layout design, user interface and design (focus on casual games)

• Able to adapt to the great diversity of visual styles

• Good team player with excellent communication, negotiation and teaching skills

• Open to creative feedback

• Highly organized with solid time management skills, strongly motivated and with a great desire to create top-notch product

• At least intermediate level of English

• Passion for video games

• Stylized Art portfolio or strong desire to work with it

Will be a plus

• Deep understanding of the mobile games market and their demographics

• Experience with 3D art in any form 

• Experience working with game engines, especially Unity
