GO Backend Developer

Are you passionate about building scalable and efficient backend systems?
Farcana is looking for a talented Go Backend Developer to join our innovative startup in the gaming industry. We are developing a third-person arena shooter for PC, utilizing blockchain technology.
In this role, you'll work on a game server that processes hundreds of thousands of messages per second, as well as other infrastructure components, alongside a highly experienced team of engineers. Na jakie zadania (obowiązki)?

• At least 2 years of commercial development experience in Go and Go Runtime

• Design, build and maintain efficient, highly scalable and reliable projects

• Develop APIs for the Unreal Engine client

• Perform code reviews, unit tests, and integration tests to ensure code quality

• Collaborating with other technical teams (Client UE| Analytics| QA)

• Documentation of development processes and system architecture

Jakiego specjalisty szukamy?

• Experience in commercial development of at least 2 years..

• Strong knowledge of Go and Go Runtime

• Experience with Docker

• Proficiency in working with databases (PostgreSQL or other RDBMS)

• Understanding of REST API patterns and design principles

• Familiarity with message queue systems (NATS, SQS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)

• Experience with in-memory caches (Dragonfly, Redis, Memcached)

• Knowledge of design patterns and the ability to apply them effectively

• Fluency in Russian and English at an intermediate level is mandatory

Would nice to have:

• Familiarity with the JVM stack (Kotlin, Java, Clojure)

• Experience with Kubernetes

• Knowledge of Apache Flink

• Experience with Nakama or OpenMatch frameworks

• Understanding of C/C++

• Familiarity with scripting languages (Lua, Forth, Lisp, Python)

• Experience with Protobuf and/or gRPC
