Gear Games is seeking a passionate and visionary Art Director to lead the artistic direction of one of our flagship mobile games. This is a unique opportunity to take creative ownership of a strong title and elevate its visual identity to new heights.

You’ll be joining a skilled, international team working at the top of their craft. With strong player engagement and ongoing content plans, this title offers the perfect canvas for a creative leader who thrives on raising the bar, crafting unforgettable visuals, and delivering consistently stunning experiences to a global audience.

Your portfolio should demonstrate a high level of quality and polish, and indicate your determination to push boundaries across several disciplines.

You will be responsible for:

• Lead & Inspire: Guide a talented team of artists across multiple disciplines (2D, 3D, UI, animation) with clarity and passion. Mentor and grow the team, fostering both creativity and excellence.

• Define the Vision: Own the overall art and Creative direction and ensure consistency across all visual elements, from idea to final product.

• Elevate Quality: Set the creative bar high and push visual boundaries across style, polish, and player engagement.

• Bring solutions: Navigate production challenges—scheduling, staffing, quality—while keeping creative momentum strong.

• Collaborate: Partner with design and engineering to ensure visual ideas enhance gameplay, storytelling, and user experience.

Jakiego specjalisty szukamy?

• Proven experience leading art teams on game projects (preferably mobile, but not required)

• Strong creative vision and the ability to define, communicate, and maintain a cohesive visual style and a cohesive theme

• Hands-on expertise across multiple art disciplines—concept, illustration, UI/UX, animation, motion graphics

• A collaborative mindset with the ability to inspire and give meaningful feedback across departments

• Proficiency in creative and production tools 

• Deep understanding of game development pipelines and production processes

• Excellent at visual storytelling, graphic design, and typography skills

• A keen eye for motion design and a love for visual rhythm and interaction

• Bonus points:

  • Experience in the mobile game industry and avid player of mobile games

  • Strong knowledge in UX

  • Experiences working abroad or in an international environment

  • Comfortable communicating with Product Owners and other stakeholders
