IT System Administrator (Warsaw)

Volmi - A Virtuos Studio is a Ukrainian company, part of the global game development company Virtuos, specializing in creating art for games. We cooperate with game industry leaders, participate in the creation of world-class projects and continue to grow our talented team.

As we expand new horizons worldwide, we are seeking an experienced System Administrator to join our team in Warsaw and maintain the smooth operation of the network and provide technical support.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

- directly participate in the onboarding of studio newcomers (managing internal accesses);
- ensure the operability of the network and workstations of employees;
- provide technical support to studio employees;
- installation and setup of software and office equipment;
- ensuring compliance with corporate security policies;
- planning and organizing the purchase of equipment in the studio;
- keep records and inventory of equipment.

What kind of professional are we looking for?

- 3+ years of professional experience in the same role;
- strong knowledge of Windows OS from installation, configuration, and recovery;
- strong knowledge of Active Directory, FTP, DHCP, OpenVPN services
- knowledge of the principles of networks, both wired and wireless (OSI, TCP/IP);
- knowledge of PC architecture (assembly, modular replacement of components, troubleshooting);
- time management and task prioritizing skills;
- infrastructure and budget planning skills;
- customer-oriented personality with the ability to explain simply and understandably;
- Pre-Intermediate or higher English level.

Will be a plus:
- knowledge of virtualization systems (KVM, WMware, OpenVZ) and monitoring (Zabbix);
- experience in configuring Mikrotik equipment;
- experience with Linux (Ubuntu, Centos);
- experience with version control systems (SVN, Gitlab, Perforce).
