Values Value is a recruiting company with expertise in game development and is currently looking for an experienced Finance Director for the world's first conversational AI tutor for children. This gamification mobile app/ game lets children practice spoken English by conversing with a virtual AI-powered cartoon character. With its engaging virtual character, speech technology, and adaptive learning, this product is making speaking practice affordable for 500 million children around the globe. It is the second largest kid’s language app globally, which is featured in 50+ countries on the App Store and Google Play every week.
As a new Finance Director you will ensure effective financial, administration and legal support for a company operating in the USA and the CIS, relieving the owner of operational tasks related to managing reporting, taxes, insurance, and team financial management

For which tasks (responsibilities)?
Management of financial matters of the U.S. legal entity
Financial modeling and management of credit instruments
Ensuring timely preparation and submission of financial reports and taxes in the U.S.
Coordination with accountants, legal advisors, and tax consultants (in both the U.S. and the CIS)
Organization of document flow and contract work with counterparties from the CIS and the U.S.
Oversight of administrative matters (insurance, banking, licenses, etc.)
Development and enforcement of policies and business processes in the financial and administrative domain.
What kind of professional are we looking for?
At least 3 years of experience managing the financial and administrative side of a business with a U.S. legal entity
Understanding of U.S. taxation principles, financial reporting, and corporate law
Familiarity with working with teams and counterparties from the CIS region
English at Upper-Intermediate or higher (for communication with CPAs, lawyers, banks)
Ability to manage operations across multiple jurisdictions simultaneously
Experience in remote work and coordination of distributed teams
Strong organizational and systematic thinking: ability to build processes from scratch and automate routine tasks
Legal awareness: understanding the basics of contract law in both the U.S. and the CIS
Communication and coordination skills: effective collaboration with teams, consultants, and counterparties
Analytical mindset and attention to detail
Responsibility and independence: ability to fully own and manage the area without constant supervision.
