Art Lead

Xoilium is developing and distributing Web3 games under the Rebel-Bots sci-fi  brand. Games are cross platform in which players are able to play, progress, and earn in single-player or multi-player game modes.

Our Vision is to create a leading games and franchise within the blockchain games space by building the Rebel-Bots brand with several gaming titles. Players will be able to use the characters they own in all games within the Rebel Bots Universe. Among our goals is to create a truly social gameplay which enables players to join forces with other players and experience.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

• This is a Hands-on position.

• Define the artistic design of the brand, games and online presence.

• Lead the creative process and hands-on creation for all of the graphics needed for a game and brand. It includes game assets design, website design, UI design, preparation of marketing materials.

• Set and maintain the visual identity of our games

• Work closely with the product and marketing team to deliver the appropriate art that would help achieve the product goals

• Aim for visual consistency and high level of quality

• Actively participate in the game creation process

• Implement game Assets within the game engine (Unity)

• Manage teams of artists, UI designers and animators -  both in-house and external

• Technical art management, coordination with the dev team in finding the most optimal way to manage the graphics

• Manage the file storing systems for the art assets

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• At least 6 years of experience in game development sphere

• English level - upper-intermediate or higher is a must

• Strong hand-on design skills in the fields of Game art, Game UI/UX, Animation, animation integrations, web page design, marketing materials art

• Fundamental art skills (color, composition, anatomy, etc.)

• Strong and varied portfolio showing examples of your work and strong graphic design knowledge

• Proficient in working with Unity

• Strong art management skills - the ability to work productively with a team of artists, designers and animators, plan the workload and delivery for the team, manage the team to provide high quality art within the agreed schedule

• Knowledge in Multi-platform consideration, best practices and technical requirements

• Basic knowledge of animation creation tools and workflow

• Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Figma and Miro

• Understanding art and animation integration requirements for multi platform products and websites

Will be a plus:

• Skills in working with Adobe Illustrator

• General 3D skills (modeling, shading, rendering)

• Animation skills for working with tools like Spine and Adobe After Effects
