3D Generalist/Lead 3D

Whimsy Games - an ambitious and expert outsourcing company, which combines game dev & blockchain technologies and we aim to achieve the top in the game dev market.
Our team has grown 4 times over the past year and this is just the beginning.
Now we are looking for a 3D Lead to make our company even stronger.

What are you working on?

• Genres: Action, Role-playing, Strategy, Casual, Arcade, Fighting, MMO
• Platforms: PC, Mobile, Browser

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

• Technical review of the team. Reception, transmission, and implementation of 3D objects for game engines. Particularly Unity
• Working with PC/Mobile/Web GL projects
• Writing technical documentation
• Participation in the formation of the visual style of the company's new games
• Review and improvement of current projects in the company
• Development of a database of assets/materials. Maintain structure and storage
• Task Estimation
• Participation in the art production process in the required quality and volume
• Development of 3D pipelines, and improvement of current ones to find the best solutions for specific projects
• Leading and supporting the 3D team
• Assembling game scenes, working with cards

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• Knowledge of one of the 3D editors at a high level (Blender, Maya, 3ds Max and others)
• Experience with:
creating 3D models
creating a coherent game world/environment
Adobe Substance 3D Painter
• Experience with hand paint textures and realism
• Compliance with technical requirements, deadlines, and technical tasks
• Creation of UV/ Bake, textures, and materials
• Ability to work with different stylists. Get within the limits
• Ability to set up scenes, light, and materials in different editors for rendering
• Basic skills for creating 3D animation
• Implementation skills in Unity. Implementation and setup of 3D in the game engine
• Experience in leading and supporting a team

Will be a plus:
Proficiency with Marvelous Studio/clothing experience
